STARDOM
AND ILLUSION
Yesterday
I was drugged with stardom,
I
was illusioned with fake evaluations
And
I had forgotten my freedom;
World
saw me with varied beauty,
That
unremembered me my duty;
With
so much light and focus,
It
was hard to identify dusk and dogus;
To
me it was like flying dreams,
Far
away from my originality and streams;
I
was on cloud nine,
Tranquilized
with unlimited joy and shine;
My
star was dominating,
With
countless claps and cheers shouting;
With
my happiness limitlessly growing tall,
One
day it had to fall;
The
evening arrived soon and scary,
Taking
a away all fancy and fairy;
The
hands which were tapping my shoulder,
Now
have become the evil and traitor;
My
place was grabbed by someone else !!
This
had become difficult to face;
Those
illusionary days are gone,
Time
has come to cry and mourn;
Still there is lot much to bear,
The
night is yet to bring more fear;
I
had never seen a night even in dreams,
But
had heard that it carries a lot of screams;
Then
finally came a black night,
I
expected turbulence and tied myself tight;
To
my horror there was a dead calm,
I
was ready for a severe bam;
After
this I realized night had more peace than the day,
Away
from unnecessary and flattery portray;
The
darkness allowed me to see millions stars twinkling,
I
was star-struck sitting under a universe smiling;
Alas!
Stardom was too bright to blind me,
I
was lost and the night could only find me;
The
day showed me only one star,
But
utter darkness has revealed a galaxy afar;
I
learnt that future always brings good,
But
we have to keep ourselves unhood;
In
darkness only we can see a small ray of hope,
That
will bring back huge beauty and scope;
We
should be full of optimism and buoyancy,
Ready
to accept life and its transparency;
